Shiny
Areas
You may want
some areas on your baby to look wet, such as tears on the
lower eyelids, wetness on the tongue or slobber on the mouth.
Some artists like the lips to be shiny. I preferr to keep
the lips dull and just add some wetness to the inside and
corners of the lips.
To apply
shine for a wet look, use Delta Ceramcoat's Gloss Exterior
/ Interior Varnish. It can be found in craft stores near the
acrylic paints. Apply using a thin paintbrush.
**Do not
apply this varnish until your baby's coloring has set for
at least a few days. If the coloring on you doll is not completely
dry and you apply the varnish, the varnish can start to peel
off.***

When applying
to the eyelids, try not to get the gloss on the eyes. It is
best if you apply the gloss when you have removed the old
eyes. I went ahead and applied it when I still had my old
eyes in because I will not be keeping the old eyes.
